A while back, I e-mailed David Braben about permission to put the Elite stories online. I didn't get a reply, maybe I sent it to the wrong e-mail address, however, I found this newsgroup posting on Deja.com (dated 1999/05/11, to the group alt.fan.elite):
"I personally have no objection to these stories being posted as long as it is not for financial gain. I'm not sure off the top of my head who else you would need to check with; those lovely people at Take Two would be a good start.

I will check with Take Two (if I can find out who they are!). If any of the authors of the stories does *not* wish their stories to be reproduced here, e-mail me at jeremyalansmith@netscapeonline.co.uk and I will gladly remove them.
